2 charged in murder of 18-year-old Hoboken resident Adrian Rivera

Authorities in Hudson County have arrested two people in connection with the murder of an 18-year-old Hoboken resident.

The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office says 20-year-old Khalif Geiger and a 17-year-old, both Jersey City residents, were charged with felony murder and armed robbery in connection with the fatal shooting of Adrian Rivera. The 17-year-old suspect was not identified due to age.

Rivera was found shot in the torso inside his apartment on the 300 block of Marshall Drive Tuesday. Rivera was taken to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

The prosecutor's office says that the investigation is still ongoing and that additional arrests are expected.

Anyone who might have information about the shooting is asked to call the prosecutor's office at 201-915-1345 or leave an anonymous tip at the county website.
