Police release photos of Lakeland Bank ATM skimmer suspects

Police have released surveillance photos of two men believed to be linked to an ATM skimmer case.

Police say the two men are suspected of installing skimming devices inside Lakeland Bank ATMs located in Bloomingdale and Jefferson Township, as well as possibly in Lincoln Park.

The devices were believed to have been installed on Dec. 23 and removed on Dec. 26.

Police are urging all customers to check their accounts and change their PIN if they used the ATM during that time period.

Jefferson Township Detective Richard Geib is also warning customers to be aware of the ATMs that they use to make sure they have not been tampered with.

"If you take a good look at the device where you insert the card, make sure it doesn't move, make sure it doesn't look out of place," he says.

Anyone who may recognize the men is asked to call Bloomingdale police at 973-838-0158 or Jefferson Township police at 973-697-1300.
