City of Orange residents told to conserve water due to low levels

Residents in the City of Orange are being told that they need to conserve water after SUEZ Water officials say levels are down.

Water tankers are on standby at the Orange Fire Department as a precaution. Officials say the cause of the low supply is seasonal water main breaks and leaks. Customers are being asked to restrict their water usage to only essential functions.

SUEZ officials say residents should take shorter showers and turn off faucets while brushing their teeth.

Anyone who has any questions about their water should contact officials at SUEZ or the Orange town hall.

There is no word on when the water supply would be back to normal.
