Trenton mother faces charges for baby discovered with high blood alcohol content

A Trenton mother is facing charges after her 4-month-old daughter was hospitalized with a very high blood-alcohol level.

Felecia Hamilton brought her baby to Capitol Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton Thursday evening, and it was discovered that the child had a very high blood-alcohol content.

Police say that Hamilton told detectives that the baby had been with her all day.

Officials did not release how high the level was or how the baby consumed the alcohol.

The child was flown to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and is in critical condition.

Hamilton faces child endangerment charges.
