Gov. Chris Christie’s State of the State preview

Gov. Chris Christie is set to deliver his final State of the State address in Trenton this afternoon.

The governor is coming into the speech with low approval ratings and controversy, but he's expected to focus on a bipartisan mission close to his heart, treatment for drug addiction and mental health issues.

According to reports, this is going to be a forward thinking speech for the year, and it won't dwell on his past record at all.

Christie is coming off a year where he dropped out of the presidential race, brokered a state transportation deal to raise gas tax 23 cents, and got a rejection from the state house for an attempt to profit off a book deal while still in office.

But fighting drug addiction has been a signature issue of his and it seems to be the one he wants to go out on.
