Orange fire displaces 15 people

The Red Cross says it will assist three families displaced by a fire that destroyed their home on Chapman Avenue.

The Essex County fire is believed to have sparked around 3 a.m. on Saturday, with firefighters attempting to stop the blaze while snow fell around the area.

Authorities say 15 people make up the three families that will receive assistance.

Whether anyone was injured, or if anyone was inside the house at the time of the fire, is unknown.
