Light snow falls in towns along the New Jersey coast

Some light snow fell overnight in Howell.

Other towns along the coast, such as Lakewood, Toms River, and Seaside, also got a little dusting of snow.

The roads are clear, but wet and possibly icy.

The state is expecting a bitter blast, and this afternoon will feel like it's in the single digits due to the strong winds.

Temperatures Thursday will see a high barely reaching the 30s, with sun and clouds.

Overnight temperatures will be dangerously cold, with temperatures barely reaching over single digits.
