Family, friends of missing teen organize search party

Family and friends of a missing 19-year-old woman organized a search party to help with efforts to find her.

It's been a full week since Sarah Stern, of Neptune, disappeared.

Stern's cousins organized the search party which met at Pavilion Praise in Ocean Grove Saturday morning.

More than 200 people showed up to search from Manasquan to Long Branch, including the area surrounding the Shark River.

Stern's car, a 1994 silver four-door Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight, was found last Saturday on the Route 35 Bridge in Belmar.

The car was operational and the keys were still inside, but Sarah was nowhere to be found.

The Belmar Water Rescue Team searched Shark River to determine if Stern may have jumped from the bridge, but they didn't find her.
