Vigil held for Sarah Butler, found dead in Eagle Rock Reservation after going missing

Friends and classmates held a vigil at New Jersey City University for a 20-year-old New Jersey college student who was found dead in West Orange.

Students gathered at the Jersey City campus Monday with candles and flowers to honor Sarah Butler.

Butler, of Montclair, was reported missing a few days before Thanksgiving. Her body was found dumped in a wooded area of the Eagle Rock Reservation in West Orange on Dec. 1.

Prosecutors have ruled Butler's death a homicide.

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
