Dog missing from Florida for 3 years found in New Jersey

A dog who went missing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida three years ago has been found in New Jersey.
Bill Gernstein says that his dog Bella disappeared from his workplace in 2013.
Gernstein says that he had given up hope at finding his beloved pup, but says that he received an email from the Paterson Animal Shelter last week that said that Bella was found.
Animal shelter workers were able to identify Bella because she was microchipped.
Gernstein booked a flight to New Jersey and was able to reunite with Bella. He says that he has no idea how she ended up in New Jersey.
"I wish that [dogs could] talk. I wish she was wearing a GoPro or something because she has some story to tell," Gernstein says.
A New Jersey family apparently found and cared for Bella for about nine months, but she ran away and was picked up by the Paterson shelter.
