A missing former Elmwood Park volunteer firefighter who possibly suffers from dementia or Alzheimer's disease has been located.
Donald Richard, 78, was found walking around the campus of Bergen Regional Medical Center in Paramus.
Richard had walked out of his home around 4:30 p.m. Monday.
Calls were sent out to people in all immediate areas around Wildwood Road in Oradell, where county rescue dogs picked up his scent.
A large amount of firefighters participated in the search due to Richard's service as a volunteer. Crews also used drones to hover over wooded areas and neighboring towns in an effort to find the man.
