Artwork featuring Bruce Springsteen stolen from Asbury Park shop

Asbury Park police are investigating the theft of a piece of original artwork featuring the likeness of singer Bruce Springsteen.

Police say that the artwork, an image of Springsteen torch-cut into a piece of metal, which is attached to a piece of wood, was stolen from a local business on the 1300 block of Washington Avenue.

It was apparently stolen sometime between Tuesday night and Thursday morning.

The piece is green and white and is about 30 inches by 24 inches long.

Anyone who may have any information about the theft should contact the Asbury Park Police Department at 732-774-1300.
