Police: Former student stabs professor, student at Rutgers Business School
A former student stabbed a professor and another student at Rutgers Business School on the Livingston College campus in Piscataway, according to authorities.
Rutgers Business School was temporarily placed on lockdown after the incident. Rutgers police issued an alert around 3 p.m. about a stabbing at the school, and warned people to avoid the area and stay indoors. By 3:30 p.m., the school had put out an alert that the suspect was taken into custody and that the area was safe.
The victims and the suspect were taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. The extent of their injuries was not immedately released.
Officials say that no charges have been filed yet, as the investigation continues.
