Police arrest man who allegedly fired gun outside barber shop

Police have arrested a man they say fired a gun outside a barber shop in Linden and threatened a man inside.

Police say Daniel Vega, of Roselle, fired one shot outside Klippers Barber Shop on George Avenue just before 8 p.m. Thursday.

Vega walked inside, got into an argument with a man and then pointed a gun at the victim, according to investigators.

They say officers caught up with Vega after he ran from the scene.

Vega has been charged with making terroristic threats and weapons offenses.
