Forecast: Temperatures expected to drop to low-40s

Temperatures reached 62 degrees Monday with mostly cloudy conditions throughout the day.

News 12 Meteorologist Dave Curren says overnight temperatures in most areas are expected to reach the low-40s and may even drop into the 30s in some areas. There is also a possibility of a wintry mix off to the north and west areas of New Jersey.

Temperatures are expected to be even cooler on Tuesday, with highs around 55.

The forecast for the rest of the work week is calling for seasonable temperatures remaining in the 50s.
