Forecast: Rain overnight; strong winds expected Saturday
New Jersey started off Friday with cloudy skies and scattered showers, before seeing some sunshine in the afternoon.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says scattered rain is expected to return overnight. Curren says Saturday should see very strong winds, which may reach 45 mph.
Friday's overnight hours are expected to see rain with temperatures dropping into the low-50s.
Saturday should see cloudy skies with scattered rain in the morning. Strong winds are expected, and high temperatures should only reach the mid-50s.
Sunday should see mostly clear skies. Temperatures are expected to warm slightly into the low-60s.
Curren says the next week should see temperatures in the 50s and 60s with mostly sunny skies.
