Officials: Small plane crashes in Camden County; 2 men hurt

Authorities say two men were injured when a small plane crashed behind a home in Camden County.
Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Arlene Salac says the Ercoupe 415-C plane crashed occurred around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday on East Linden Avenue in Lindenwold. She said the plane had departed the Flying W Airport in Medford.
The 66-year-old pilot and his 72-year-old passenger were both conscious when they were extricated from the aircraft. Both men were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, but further details on their conditions were not disclosed.
The names of the two men were not released.
Authorities say no one on the ground was injured in the accident.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
