Newark authorities say two men shot and wounded each other during an argument over the price of some marijuana.
The shooting occurred around 7 p.m. Monday in the area of Emmet Street and Avenue C.
The two men - 21-year-old Angelo Tolentino, of Belleville, and 18-year-old Newark resident Edgar Delgado - were both treated at a hospital for wounds that are not considered life-threatening.
Each man was charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses, and authorities said Wednesday that additional charges are pending. It wasn't known if either man has retained an attorney.
Authorities say Tolentino was armed with a 9mm handgun while Delgado had a .32 caliber gun.
No other injuries were reported in the incident.
