11-year-old boy interrupts burglary at Wayne home; police seek identification
Wayne Township police say an 11-year-old boy interrupted a burglary in his home, and now police are searching for a suspect.
Police say the boy came home around 3:20 p.m. Monday and found a man inside his home in the Pines Lake section of town. The boy ran from the home to a neighbor's house and called police.
The boy was not hurt.
The home's security camera captured some images of the suspect. He is described as a white man, approximately 6 feet tall. He has a medium build and had a moustache and goatee. Police say he fled the house from the rear sliding glass patio door.
