Forecast: New Jersey treated to summer-like temperatures

Summer-like temperatures returned to New Jersey to start off the work week.

Temperatures reached the low-80s Monday.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says clear skies and similar temperatures are expected for the next few days.

Monday's overnight hours should see partly cloudy skies with temperatures cooling into the mid-60s. Tuesday is expected to see mostly sunny skies with temperatures reaching the low-80s. A light breeze is also expected. Wednesday should see temperatures around 84 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds.

Curren says rain is expected for later in the week.
