Forecast: Cloudy, damp weekend ahead for New Jersey

New Jersey saw cloudy skies, damp conditions and cooler weather Friday and similar weather is expected to last through the weekend.

The wind and rain caused some coastal flooding at the Jersey Shore. Temperatures Friday reached the mid-60s.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says temperatures should remain in the low-60s overnight with periods of light, misty rain.

Saturday is expected to see heavy rain in the morning with temperatures in the mid-60s. The rain may clear slightly by the afternoon.

Sunday is expected to see mostly cloudy skies with some scattered rain showers. Temperatures may increase slightly into the low-70s.

Monday is expected to see partly sunny skies with temperatures in the low- to mid-70s.
