Police: Man stole religious statues in Nutley to sell online

A man was arrested for allegedly stealing 30 religious statues and other items from people's lawns in Nutley and then selling them online.
Andrew Lewis, 19, is accused of stealing the items for about nine months.
Investigators say Lewis would take a picture of the item he was going to take and post it online. Once it sold, they say he would steal the item and ship it.
Police say Lewis' online posts led to his arrest. A tip from someone who was about to purchase a religious statue from a website alerted them.
Lewis is said to be cooperating with police in neighboring jurisdictions regarding items stolen along the Nutley border.
