Authorities identify victim in deadly Elizabeth shooting as Al-Yasin Anthony

The Union County Prosecutor's Office has identified the person killed in a deadly shooting in Elizabeth as 20-year-old Al-Yasin Anthony.



Officials say police responded to the area of Court and First streets Thursday around 11:40 p.m. for reports of gunfire. Anthony was found shot dead at the scene.



Police also found a man and a woman at the scene who were also shot. They were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.



Officials did not immediately say if they had any suspects in the shooting. 



The Union County Crime Stoppers are offering up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
