A Bergen County community dedicated a new monument in tribute to the Sept. 11 first responders on the anniversary of the terror attacks.

The monument, which contains steel from the towers, is located at Zadroga Park in North Arlington.

Many people who watched the towers come down 15 years ago in the park came back on Sunday to honor those who sacrificed their lives.

The site has a view of downtown Manhattan where the terror attacks occurred. The fence line at the park is also a memorial to honor those who lost their lives.

The community also remembered New York Police Detective James Zadroga. Zadroga was one of the men who helped in the rescue and recovery efforts after the towers fell. He died from respiratory illness that was attributed to his exposure to chemicals at Ground Zero.
