A New Jersey Transit train struck and injured an 18-year-old boy who was walking on the train tracks. A spokesperson for the transit company says that the teen was on the tracks on Hillside Avenue

NJ Transit train strikes, injures teen trespassing on tracks near Glen Ridge Station
A New Jersey Transit train struck and injured an 18-year-old boy who was walking on the train tracks.
A spokesperson for the transit company says that the teen was on the tracks on Hillside Avenue near the Glen Ridge Station.
The teen was taken to University Hospital to be treated for head injuries, but is expected to be OK.
There were about 50 people on board the Montclair-Boonton line train. The rail line was temporarily suspended while police investigated the incident.
No one on the train was hurt.
