Police seek suspects in shooting during Elizabeth gas station robbery

Police are looking for the suspects involved in shooting that happened Sunday during a robbery at a gas station in Elizabeth.



The incident took place at a Delta gas station on Spring Street around 5:30 a.m.



Shooting victim KamalJeet Singh tells News 12 New Jersey that he refused to lay on the ground when robbers insisted he do so.



The limousine driver was shot in the leg, but the bullet ricocheted off the car key in his pocket and exited clean.



Kamal was treated and released from the hospital.



The manager tells News 12 New Jersey that the same three suspects have robbed the gas station three times in the last 15 days. This time they took off with about $150.



Investigators are asking anyone with information on the suspects to contact the Elizabeth Police Department.
