NJ-based Pet ResQ to support animal victims of LA flooding

A New Jersey-based pet rescue group is sending supplies, money and support to Louisiana to help the four-legged victims of the historic flooding in the state.
Robyn Urman is the found of Pet ResQ Inc. She is heading to flood-affected areas today in Louisiana to search for lost pets and to assist damaged shelters.
"There's like 3,500 people with pets and they need to be fed and that's what I'll doing," Urman told News 12 New Jersey.
Pet ResQ has been collecting supplies and money for shelters and pet families in need. The supplies Urman can't bring herself will be shipped. Surviving shelter pets will eventually make it to New Jersey, where hopefully they find forever homes.
A handful of New Jersey rescue groups, vets and groomers have also promised their space and time to help animals brought up from Louisiana.
