A New Jersey Transit bus rear-ended another New Jersey Transit bus inside the Lincoln Tunnel Monday morning, leading to traffic delays.
Port Authority of New York and New Jersey spokesman Steve Coleman said that the driver of one of the buses was taken to a hospital, and 14 of the 103 passengers were treated at the scene for injuries that were not serious.
NJ Transit spokesman Jim Smith said the Route 114 bus hit the Route 190 bus around 7:30 a.m. Monday.
There were residual traffic delays around the tunnel for about two hours and some NJ Transit buses were delayed by around 45 minutes after the accident.
