Forecast: Severe weather strikes New Jersey

The Garden State saw strong storms after a morning of extremely hot temperatures.



News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says that the storms are expected to clear out by Tuesday.



Tuesday should see mostly sunny skies with temperatures reaching the upper-80s. There is also a chance for another thunderstorm during the day.



Wednesday is expected to see mostly sunny skies. High temperatures should reach around 84 degrees.



Thursday is also expected to see mostly sunny skies with temperatures possibly reaching the upper-80s.
