Forecast: Severe weather hits New Jersey

Severe storms have hit New Jersey, leaving thousands without power and leaving damage in their wake.
The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for most of the state through the evening. The agency issued a tornado warning for Warren County for a time, but it has expired.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that these storms included heavy rain and strong wind. The storms should be gone by the overnight hours.
Thursday's overnight hours should remain mostly clear with temperatures in the mid-70s.
Friday is expected to be mostly sunny with hazy conditions. Temperatures may reach the mid- to upper-90s.
Saturday should see mostly sunny skies with the chance of a thunderstorm. High temperatures may reach the low-90s.
Sunday may start off with rain showers, but should see sunny skies later in the day. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-80s.
