Family of 4 homeless after fire destroys home in North Plainfield

A family of four lost their home in a fire Monday morning.



The fire happened at a home on Farragut Place in North Plainfield.



Lucy Sanchez tells News 12 New Jersey that she found the fire coming from the computer in her son's bedroom.



Everyone made it out before the blaze overtook the second floor.



The American Red Cross responded to assist those who were displaced.
