Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department recovers body inside park

The Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department has recovered a body that was found on the cliffs inside the Palisades Interstate Park in Alpine.
Parkway police say that they were inside the park along with the Bergen County Sheriff's Department searching for Paramus resident Colin Everett, who went missing there on June 29.
The body was found by a Bergen County sheriff cadaver dog. Officials say that there was no immediate confirmation that the body found was Everett's.
It took officials several hours to get to the body due to its location at the base of the cliff, as well as heavy rain and thunderstorms in the area. Crews had to use high-angle techniques, according to police.
Officials says that the identity of the body will be determined pending an autopsy. They say that the death does not appear to be suspicious.
