Delaware rape suspect believed to have been hiding in New Jersey turns himself in

A Delaware rape suspect who was believed to have been hiding out in New Jersey has turned himself in, according to the Delaware State Police.
Joseph Genitempo turned himself in to detectives Thursday. He was charged with rape and released on $50,000 bail.
Genitempo, 34, is accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl over the course of a year and a half. Police were alerted to the alleged acts by the girl's mother.
