West Long Branch police seek identify of Trump banner thief

The West Long Branch Police Department is hoping the public can help identify a woman accused of stealing a Donald Trump banner off of a home.
The banner belonged to borough resident Joe Hornick, who has many other flags and banners dedicated to the Republican presidential candidate posted on his property.
Hornick was ticketed in March for flying a Donald Trump flag on his flag pole. Officials said that the flag violated a West Long Branch ordinance that restricts the display of political signs until 30 days before an election.
The American Civil Liberties Union came to his defense, and a judge dismissed the charges.
Hornick tells News 12 New Jersey that this was the 11th Trump banner that has been stolen from his home. He says that he isn't angry and doesn't know what the thieves' motives are.
He says that he will continue to put up and replenish the banners and flags as often as they are stolen. By Thursday evening, Hornick posted a photo on his Facebook page showing a brand-new banner over his front door.
Anyone who can identify the woman who stole the latest banner is urged to contact the West Long Branch Police Department at 732-229-5000 ext. 251.
