Forecast: Chance of rain Friday; sunny, warm weekend expected

New Jersey saw mostly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers Thursday with temperatures that were slightly below-average for this time of year.



News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren say that the weather is expected to improve and the weekend is shaping up to see great weather.



Thursday's overnight hours should see mostly cloudy skies with temperatures dipping into the lower-60s.



Friday could see a chance of rain in the morning, but skies are expected to be clear by the afternoon. High temperatures should reach the mid-70s.



Saturday and Sunday are expected to see clear skies and warm temperatures. Saturday should see highs near 80 degrees. Sunday should see highs in the mid-80s.
