FedEx truck hits Wayne Valley H.S. school bus on class trip to Dorney Park

Some Passaic County students suffered minor injuries when their bus was involved in a crash on the way to a class trip in Pennsylvania.
Schools officials say 37 students and two staff members from Wayne Valley High School were headed to Dorney Park in Allentown when their bus was struck by a FedEx truck. The incident happened around 10:15 a.m. on Interstate 78 in Lower Saucon Township, Pennsylvania.
A student tells News 12 New Jersey that the school bus stalled in the middle lane of the highway and that black smoke started to come out of the bus. That's when she grabbed her cellphone and started to film.
The bus was sideswiped by the truck soon after. The incident was caught on video.
Five students, one staff member and the bus driver were all taken to Saint Luke's Hospital for treatment. The uninjured students were taken to Dorney Park to meet with their classmates.
School officials say the cause of the crash is under investigation by Pennsylvania State Police.
