South Plainfield Public Schools is launching a new program to help students cope with the changes in learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) will help students with the unspoken lessons they usually learn in an in-person environment, that they may not be getting while attending virtual school. This includes how to work in groups and how to interact with others.
Director of Guidance Sam Fierra spoke with News 12’s Kristina Behr about the program.
