Animal control was called to a school in Burlington County after a snake was found in the classroom.

A teacher found the snake at Little Promises Learning Center in Roebling.
Apparently, the snake has been 'on the run' for a couple of days.
Officers were called the day before when the garter snake was first spotted, but it eluded capture and hid in a heater vent.
The snake was finally caught.
According to officers, the snake isn't dangerous and common in the area.
