An out-of-control school bus hit eight parked cars in Lakewood. Police say no students were on board during the crash around 8:30 a.m. Thursday along Garden of Eden Street.

Officials say the driver had informed their dispatch office of an unknown medical condition prior to the crash. They say the bus driver was not injured due to the accident but was taken to the hospital for treatment related to their medical episode.

No summons was issued, police say. The investigation is ongoing.
