Getting dirty isn't only fun for kids anymore.
More than a thousand people turned out for Sunday's Rock Solid Mud Run at Raceway Park in Englishtown.
The grueling five-mile course was designed by a U.S. Marine.
The test consists of 30 obstacles, some on land, others in the water.
For most, the fun part is navigating through the unavoidable mud.
