Jenkinson's Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach is preparing for the reopening of rides, arcades and amusement parks this week.
The boardwalk hired Emergency Services New Jersey to help ensure everything is sanitized for visitors.
They have been spraying down boardwalk attractions and rides all week.
Those cleaning the boardwalk they are using a bio-friendly coating that provides 90 days of extra protection.
"It's just another reassurance," says Toby Wolf, of Jenkinson's Boardwalk.
Jenkinson's is looking into extending its season into the fall to make up for the time lost.
