Report: 7 of 10 worst NYC bridges are in Bronx

The General Contactors' Association of New York released a report Wednesday listing the 10 worst bridges and elevated roadways in New York City and seven of them are in the Bronx.
The list includes parts of the Major Deegan Expressway, Bronx River Parkway Viaduct, Cross Bronx Expressway Viaduct and Bruckner Expressway.
The roadways were rated based on the condition of steel columns and beams, as well as surface areas.
Rep. Jose Serrano says the House had already approved the Federal Transportation Bill, which is expected to help repair local roadways, but the legislation is at a standstill in the Senate.
