Really . . . ‘Shell on’ challenge dares teens to eat plastic packaging, cardboard boxes

Teens are now daring each other to participate in the "Shell on” challenge – the bizarre new social media trend.
In the challenge, teens must eat plastic packaging, cardboard boxes and fruit peels -- and post the videos of themselves doing it to Snapchat.
Doctors, of course, warn against eating anything that isn't food.

The new trend follows the potentially fatal "Tide Pod challenge," which involved eating laundry detergent pods.
