A QuickChek in Matawan is closing after the building's owner did not renew its lease, but two new stores are expected in New Jersey.
The store is located at 58 Main St., and will close next Friday.
According to a spokesperson, customers can visit different QuickChek stores in nearby Old Bridge or Hazlet.
The closure comes as the company continues its expansion.
New stores are also expected to be put up in Shrewsbury and Eatontown.
A new store with fueling stations is expected to open later this summer on Shrewsbury Avenue in Shrewsbury.
In Eatontown, land is being prepared for a new location at the intersection of Route 35 and Route 36.
