The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, as well as other authorities, have announced the body of a man was found on a stairway at the Morristown train station.

Prosecutor’s office: Body of man found on stairway at New Jersey train station
The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, as well as other authorities, have announced the body of a man was found on a stairway at the Morristown train station.
The body was found Monday around 12:29 a.m. when law enforcement received information regarding the body in the area of the train station.
An investigation confirmed the body was located on a stairway at the station.
An autopsy was performed by the Morris County Medical Examiner's Office. The cause and manner of death are pending. The identity of the person will not be released at this time.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. The Morristown train station platforms remain open for normal operations.
