Hundreds of people have had their power restored following a transformer fire in Monmouth County.
Jersey Central Power & Light says that power was restored around noon. Around 500 Sea Bright customers lost power Thursday morning.
JCP&L says that the fire was caused by a broken arm on a pole carrying a high-voltage transmission line.
The outage impacted the area between the Sea Bright Bridge and Highlands Bridge.
