Postal worker Parrish Brookins is accused of stealing stimulus checks from residents in Verona.

The East Orange resident is also accused of stealing credit cards from postal customers.

Authorities say Brookins was seen on surveillance video inside of his postal truck tampering with the mail and placing checks into his pockets.

They also say he communicated his crimes with an unidentified cohort through Instagram.
