A new poll out today finds that President Barack Obama's approval rating is on the rise in New Jersey.
The Rutgers-Eagleton poll shows 60 percent of registered voters in the state view the president favorably. That's an 8-percent jump from November and is the highest rating since the poll first began asking the question in the fall of 2010.
The poll finds 33 percent of those surveyed view him unfavorably.
Meanwhile, the poll showed that Gov. Chris Christie's approval percentage has remained mostly unchanged since November.
