<p>Newark police are asking for the public&rsquo;s help in locating a man wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting investigation.</p>

Newark police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting investigation.
Newark Public Safety Director Anthony Ambrose said authorities are attempting to locate Juan Ramirez, 22, of Newark. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. He is known to frequent Mount Prospect and Second avenues.
Ambrose urged anyone with information about Ramirez’s whereabouts to call his department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-695-8477 or 1-877-695-4867. All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
