Police officers in the Bronx on high alert after threats of another potential shooting

Police officers in the Bronx are on high alert after threats were made of another potential shooting.
Police sources tell News 12 The Bronx that a memo went out, saying there was a credible threat and that someone may try to shoot a member of the NYPD, specifically with the 41st Precinct.
The memo alerted officers to be "vigilant" and "alert."
The Sergeants Benevolent Association called it an NYPD assassination threat, in a tweet, saying the stationhouse security must be posted on all tours.
The alert comes after last weekend's pair of police-involved shootings.
